We are officially settled in Waldorf, Maryland! And so far, we love it here. Our house is coming along, we've painted and completed several little projects. The biggest undertaking for me (aside from finding a daycare I love as much as the one Brie and Emerson were in in San Diego) has been to get the nursery set up. We had to unpack, get everything washed, hung, put together (ask me about the three days we spent looking for the parts and fixtures needed to put the crib together. Just kidding, don't ask, I'd rather forget) and finally the nursery is done.
This may sound strange, but I've never had a nursery. When Brie was a newborn, John was in A school and we lived at my mom's house. When Emerson was born he was so attached to me that he mainly slept in my arms around the clock. This time, we have an extra room, and whether I use it for the new baby or not - I wanted a nursery. My goal is to be able to have a comfortable space to shoot my newborn photography.
It's a cute space, right? It's only November and I've just began the third trimester...but now that the nursery is ready, I'm definitely counting the days until we get to meet the newest member of the family.
I guess it's about time we start thinking about names. Lol!
